BookAura operates as a premier technology platform connecting independent beauty salons, barbers, and spas with clients. BookAura is not an employer of independent salon specialists.
User Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to create an account and make appointments on BookAura.
Appointments, Pricing & Payments
Binding Reservation
When you confirm a booking, you enter into a direct agreement with the salon for the reserved service at the stated time and price.
Clear Upfront Pricing
All prices include applicable service taxes. You will not be charged unexpected booking fees. Payment is held securely until service confirmation.
Accepted Payment Methods
Credit/Debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and in-salon cash/card payments where accepted.
Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy
Standard 2-Hour Free Cancellation
You can reschedule or cancel your appointment free of charge up to 2 hours before the scheduled appointment start time directly from your My Bookings portal.
Late Cancellations & No-Shows
Cancellations made within 2 hours or failure to show up may be subject to a cancellation charge up to the service value to compensate the specialist for reserved time.
Salon-Initiated Cancellations
If a salon or specialist cancels your appointment, you will receive a 100% immediate full refund or complimentary rescheduling.
User Conduct & Salon Responsibilities
Professional Quality Warranty
Salons represent that their staff hold valid licenses, operate sanitary premises, and use authentic beauty and hair products.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Limitation of Liability & Disputes
Dispute Resolution & Mediation
If you experience an issue with a salon service, BookAura provides dispute mediation to ensure fair resolutions and justified refunds.
Platform Warranty Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BookAura provides the platform "as is" and disclaims direct liability for independent salon service outcomes.
